On the Floor... Eek!!

Today was my official first day on the Floor!

I feel like it should actually be my first day since the last few I spent back in the HR dept/ Training Room.

It was soo long, and I'm so tired.

I'm not too sure if it was from waking up so early (I haven't been up @ 5:30am in forever... and didn't go to bed til around 11pm), or if it is from not used to being on my feet so long.

And the over load of information.

There is so much information that I am trying to remember so that I don't screw anything up.

I also got my first on the job injury.

Nothing major, just something small between my finger nail and first digit.

But I still have to have a band aid on it to keep it from getting infected of re-opened.

And now, I have to get my butt off the couch, finish getting stuff done around the house so that I can get out of here in time to pick up my little sister from school.

I don't think I'm going to go to the cashier meeting tonight.

I might fall asleep in the car on the way home.

Not good.

So, yes. Turning the computer off. lol.

Terrific Tuesday? Not quite.

There are always those cute little adjectives to go with the days of the week,

However, I don't think that terrific really fits Tuesday...

well, at least this Tuesday.

It's one of those manic days where there is a ton that needs to be done, but not enough time to do it.

Besides that some of the things i wanted to do, like mow the lawn, I can't because it's broken.

Lame!

And then, because I haven't gotten a paycheck yet, I'm starting to run low on gas...

The drive from here to Folsom practically everyday isn't pretty. lol.

At least the work isn't too bad.

Getting payed to be trained in front of the computers sounds like fun to me. lol. Not.

I just hope I'll be out on the floor soon so I can really get into the job.

I hate having to sit around. It makes me really tired.

And getting woken up at 6:30 to commotion in the house, again at 7:30 to my mom texting me, then getting up at 9 after not going to bed til about 2am is pretty miserable.

And now, I'm finishing my laundry while counting down the minutes until I have to leave, once again.

Joy to the world. :-P

So tired

I forgot how tiring work actually is.

I had my first "work" day today and it consisted of hours in front of a computer for training.

I don't know how many hours I can stand sitting in front of a comupter, but I'm hoping I'm done soon!

It's actually more tiring to sit and have to focus on the screen than it is to actually work.

Rediculously lame!

I know I've got at least 5 hours tomorrow in front of it.

At least I don't go in til 4pm... I have the day to myself to relax and get some stuff done.

at least i'll have a good 28 hours on this paycheck! Yey!

I'm all up for nice happy paychecks. lol

I still have to check on some stuff for tomorrow before work,

then i'll be getting ready for & heading to bed.

Wishful Wednesday

'I wish' .... I could win the lottery REAL soon, and I would hope to pay off my debt so I could buy a house for me & my honey.

I'm really excited about tomorrow, I'm getting together with a good friend and were going to go out for a walk, discuss plans for her engagment pictures, and possibly play with other wedding ideas and such!

Working Woman!!

I got a job yesterday!

Now, I'm just waiting for my drug test and back ground check to come in...

then I get to go to orientation and training,

and after all of that, I will OFFICIALLY be a Lowe's Girl! lol

And, we're still hoping that Matt gets the job as an apprentice lineman with SMUD

so we can get him out of the casino.

If he does, down the road a little bit, we just might be moving to Wyoming!

I am pretty excited since WY was pretty much my idea and it's not Alaska. lol

Either way, I'll be getting the hell out of California! Oh yeah! lol.

I'm also working on getting back into shape, which is perfect since it's finally incredibly nice outside!

It's gunna take a little bit, but I'm so excited!!

Thankful Thursday and other things!

Today, I am extremely thankful for Matt.

Because of him, I applied at Lowes in Folsom Wednesday night,

and tonight, I got a call for an interview!

It's all set for tomorrow @ 2pm!!

I am beyond excited because, even though it's only part time,

 I can start paying my mom off,

Tomorrow is Friday, which is super exciting since there is so much planned

(getting ready for the interview, picking up & dropping off my sister, going to interview, then "shopping")

I'm hoping that it goes by fast cuz the next day is Saturday!

Saturday is one of my favorite days for one very good reason:

It's the day I get to take off for my weekend of fun and adventure with Matt

(fun and adventure... hahaha)

Sunday is a good one too since I get to spend the whole day in Shingle Springs.

I LOVE getting to spend time up there.

Seriously, I'd be there all the time if I could.

We'll, not that I love the area... I just really LOVE being with Matt.

(hehe. I love my goober!)

Currently, I'm trying to get the Married on Myspace Season 2 videos to load.

I'm kind of failing at it though.

I'm also wishing that I could type properly tonight instead of spelling every second to third word wrong since I'm a mix between tired and thinking faster than I can type.

And since I mentioned typing, I'm wishing my "Y" key was working properly.

I'm kind of tired of having to re-read through everything I type because there may be a "Y" missing... unless I smash the keys down on the keyboard REALLY hard! lol

Well, I'm gunna get back to that video...

Busy, busy, busy

I'm so tired this morning.

I had trouble going to sleep last night, so I stayed up til 1am texting Matt...

and when he went to bed, I stayed up making another post, checking and updating facebook, etc.

I believe I finally went to sleep sometime around 2am.

And then my body decided to wake me up before the 8-hours-of-sleep mark at 10am.

ICK!

But it's probably a good think because I wasted a fair amount of time already, and I have a nice, busy day ahead of me.

I still need to:

1. eat breakfast (pretty important I'd say. lol)

2. Clean the rabbit's cage

3. Put all the cleaning materials back outside (the only think I've done so far other than wake up is get the cleaning supplies from outside.)

4. Vacuum the floor(s)... again (third time since I've been home)

5. Take a nice bath & use the body scrub I just got yesterday.

6. Get dressed (obviously)

7. Pack my weekend bag (yet again)

8. Let all the dogs to go out potty, then put them all away (started on that one too)

9. Curl my hair (I'm totally going to try to look sexy for Matt today)

10. Get the present for Sarah's friend ready

11. Pick up my sister (I have to be there by 3:10pm)

12. Get lunch with Sarah

13. Drop her off at her friends house (between 3:10pm and 4pm)

Then, I finally get to make the hour

(yes, an hour from where I'll be leaving)

trip back up to Shingle Springs to spend the weekend with my honey.

And I get to do the first 10 things between now & 2:45pm/ 2:50pm.

Joy.

I guess I better get started! lol.

Fantastic Friday!

At least thats what this Friday is!

AFter I pick Sarah up from school & take her to her friend's house for a party,

I am on my way back up to Matts for a nice long weekend.

I hate that Saturday is pretty much going to be stolen from us

(Normally he works 1am-9am Saturday, but he is working 4pm-4am possibly 9am this Saturday.

Can you say lame?)

but in the end, I get to spend a decent portion of Friday, and Saturday until about 3:30pm with him...

plus all of Sunday, and if I can talk him into it, maybe a portion of Monday as well.

So tomorrow, we MIGHT go see Alice in Wonderland...

but that's a BIG might since tomorrow is opening day... and I don't think he pre-bought tickets. lol

Sunday, we're going laser tagging.

I haven't been in forever and I'm hoping my cough will hold up long enough not to give me away!

I'd hate for him to kick my butt just because I still have bronchitis. lol

And I'm going to start a new thing at the end of my posts with some random fact...

it might be about me, someone I know, or just something I found interesting.

I figure to start I should do one about me.

When I watch a movie, it always transports me to a new place.

Not like a typical person getting into the movie, but ones like Flicka or The Proposal make me think hard about what it would be like living in that place.

Being a photographer in the making, I pay close attention to the lanscape.

I love taking pictures of beautiful landscape, and can't wait for my digital camera so not only can I take better pictures of it, but I can add people into the landscape to enhance their beauty.

So, thats about it for tonight.

Now I gotta turn in so I have enough time to get everything done before 3pm!

Last night, I went through a magazine and found a large group of the engagment/wedding photographers in Northern California.

Out of the 27 with websites that I wrote down, I settled on 5 that were "reasonably priced"

and that I liked their examples enough that I would use them for my own wedding.

I know of another photographer that I would use as well who isn't big quite yet...

so I guess 6 out of 28. lol

Graduations, and photographers...

A conversation between me and Matt got me thinking...

He was saying that when we get married, it's going to be impossible for us to find a photographer...

cuz I'm such a photo snob.

Ok, those weren't his words... but I totally am.

So, I decided today,

in my infinate boredness

(and yes, I know boredness isn't a word)

that I would check out photographers in Nor. Cal,

since he has decided that he probably wants to get married up by Bodega Bay.

And I have decided that it might be next to impossible to find one...

well, one that I approve of...

and doesn't cost an arm, a leg, 90% of my blood, and a kidney. lol

I have decided that finding a few reasonably priced photographers...

that shoot anywhere from Mendocino to Tahoe or Donner...

that I approve of...

is going to be my mission the next few days.

Especially tomorrow, since I'll have the whole day to myself.

I'm also hoping I'll be feeling better...

I really want to get some exercise in...

and since the weather outside sucks, I need to keep it to dancing to all the good tunes I have.

I wasn't in the mood, nor was I feeling well enough to dance around the house.

I think I may have to record it for Matt so he can laugh at me & my "mad skills". lol

I'm hoping that maybe next week the weather will start getting better.

Not only do I really want to be able to get outside to work out,

but I need to get my sister's pictures taken for her 8th grade promotion.

I want to have at least one round of pictures taken so we have a few really good ones to choose from...

plus there is developing, enlarging, and all the time taken inbetween

(since my camera isn't digital and I don't have the resources to set up a dark room).

We need to have them taken, announcements made up, and sent out before June...

so I have a little over 2 months to get it done!

EEP! It's going to be a lot of work.

On top of everything else,

I'm still trying to find a job.

Oh yes, life is good. lol

I'm back home in Wilton and getting very excited about the future.

My incredible boyfriend was looking at houses on the coast in Nothern California today...

He found the cutest house up in Jenner.
